Our Passion as a Golden Retriever Breeder
We love the looks of the foundation bloodlines, originating in Great Britain, which led us to the purchase of Bruno and then Blanche, our breeding female. The term “English Cream” is often used in the Golden Retriever world, describing the lighter colored Golden Retrievers. At High Point Golden Retrievers, we don’t use this term, as it’s viewed as incorrect terminology by the Golden Retriever Club of America. Our main focus is to contribute, in a positive way, to the Golden Retriever breed for generations to come and diversify the gene pool by researching bloodlines near and far. By practicing selective breeding, we are able to match our females with selective males that we believe will produce wonderful dispositions and continue to uphold the integrity of the breed standard.
